At Urban Tails, Day Stays are more than a quiet alternative — it’s a purposeful, enrichment-forward experience built around each dog’s individual needs.



Our team plays a huge role in that. With trained eyes for body language and a deep understanding of sensory and cognitive wellness, they design activities that help pups build confidence, explore with all their senses, and strengthen their emotional well-being.



From nose-work challenges and scent-space adventures to calming in-room brain boosts and one-on-one skill sessions, every moment is intentional, supportive, and tailored to the pup right in front of us.

🌟I-REACH 2 Volunteer Outreach Program🌟

Each week, our Ireach 2, Inc. friends have been lending their talents to Urban Tails — helping prep meals, refreshing our scent spaces, learning the basics of pet care, and even mastering our floor-cleaning machines. Along the way, they’ve been building real-life employment skills and gaining hands-on experience that supports personal growth and confidence. They’ve also had the chance to meet and work with some of our pups, adding joy (and plenty of tail wags!) to their days and ours. Their enthusiasm, curiosity, and kindness bring so much heart to UT, and we’re grateful for every moment with them.

You may have heard Stephany’s laugh — and we guarantee it made you smile. Stephany is a bright light on our Lodging team, known for her patience, warmth, and magical way with dogs (and people!).

The pups adore her calm, gentle energy, and our team couldn’t imagine the day-to-day without her. She embodies everything we strive for at Urban Tails — compassion, consistency, and a little sprinkle of joy in everything she does.
