About Us

We are excited for this new endeavor! We are a boarding and daycare facility for cats and dogs. This boarding facility will fund the New River Animal Rescue with the cost of saving unwanted cats and dogs in Fayette County, WV and surrounding areas. The NRAR does not receive any money from the county or any other outside source. This boarding/daycare operation is essential for the NRAR to continue to save lives.

(Both Barks & Boops and the New River Animal Rescue are 501(c) nonprofits operating under the umbrella the New River Humane Society)
