Before we created Paw Partner, we tried on-boarding with various software companies in the industry. We became constantly frustrated with the lack of service and follow up. At Paw Partner we are committed to you as your software provider but also your business partner. We are available via phone 8am to 5pm PST Monday through Friday, and email support is monitored seven days a week and after hours.
There is no setup or startup fee. The first 30 days of Paw Partner are complimentary. After the free trial period, the monthly cost is $99.99. We also offer a prepayment for one year which comes to $89.99 a month.
Business Setup: The business setup times vary depending on the size of the pet business and pricing options. The business setup is done with a trained Paw Partner Support member who will gather the pet business information and build the software up for that specific kennel. The Paw Partner Support member will walk through every detail with the owner and management of how they built their pet business. Updates and changes can be made at any time to the virtual business to improve the efficiency and layout for your business needs.
File Importing: File importing can vary depending on the type of software the pet business currently uses, but will typically be between 2-5 business days. Should the file importing take longer, Paw Partner will be in communication with the pet business about the importing process and timeline.
Employee Training: Paw Partner will provide training tools such as an in-depth onboarding training manual and short training videos demonstrating a specific Paw Partner feature. In addition, Paw Partner will provide scheduled support starting from the first demo.
The difference between live booking and request style booking is that live booking allows your clients to get immediate confirmation of a reservation. They are able to book services based on the information of their pet (i.e. pet size/weight, breed, or coat length) automatically since the services shown are specific to that customer’s pet. The reservation options will only show available spaces or times (for grooming or training) that are still available. This system will not be able to overbook or have overlapping reservations, similar to hotel booking sites it only will show available rooms so if full, the customer can submit the reservation to the waitlist. If there are cancellations you will go and confirm reservations off the waitlist.
Request style booking means a client will send in a reservation request and your pet business must review the reservation request. The reservation request then has to be confirmed or waitlisted based on the service type availability. This ensures the type of service request is appropriate for that particular client. Once confirmed the client will receive a confirmation notice on their Paw Partner account.
While we do not offer current or future reservations to be automatically imported from the current software you are using into Paw Partner, we will show you how to easily input your reservations. Once your current and future reservations are inputted you can “go live” and your customers will begin to make their own reservations through our free mobile app! This ensures that all the reservations get inputted correctly and are not missing any important information such as dates, service type, additional services, or any pre-payments.
If your current software contains owner and pet information, most importantly the owner's email address, we are able to export client information into an excel file and import that file into Paw Partner. If the current software system you use contains the email address but missing other important information, the accounts will need to be updated with all the information and resent to the clients to claim their account.
