Early Drop Off's
If you plan to book an early drop off (from 6:30am) it MUST be booked or cancelled by 7pm the evening before. This is to ensure that we will have a staff member on site for your dog.


Closed
We will be closed on Monday October 13th for Thanksgiving! We have cancelled all appointments on Paw Partner for that day, please feel free to schedule your pup for a different day that week.


T-Shirts & Sweaters
Happy to announce that we will be placing another order for our Dog Mom & Dog Dad T-Shirts. We will also be offering the same design in a pull-over sweater!


T-Shirts are $30 +hst and sweaters are $60 +hst.


If you are interested in buying one, please send us a message with your size and color requests. We will have t-shirts in grey and green, but sweaters will only be offered in grey at this time.


Reminders
Cancellations
Please remember to cancel your visit if you are unable to bring your dog. You can do so via Paw Partner, Email, Text Message or through Social Media Messengers. If you fail to cancel your dog's visit you will be charged $25 no show fee. 


Once Weekly Attendance
We do require dogs to attend daycare once weekly, this is to ensure that they are comfortable here! We have a strict routine, as well as expectations of the dogs and it is hard for dogs that do not attend weekly. Please, ensure that your dog comes to daycare with a regular collar or comfortable harness that they can wear for their visit. This helps staff handle dogs in an appropriate manner.

Vaccines
Please update your dogs vaccines in Paw Partner! We want to ensure that all dogs that attend Thriving Canines are fully vaccinated to help prevent any illness from occurring. We will be reaching out to dogs that are not currently up to date in our system, Paw Partner, to ensure vaccines have been acquired.

Christmas Holidays
Christmas will be here before we know it! We will be closed for Daycare from December 25th until January 4th and closing at 6pm on December 24th. Boarding is available over the Christmas Holidays!


October Calendar
Our friendly ghost activity on October 27th will be a training activity to help desensitize and familiarize your dog to people in costumes! This is especially beneficial to people who plan to involve their dog on October 31st and for more nervous pups.


Our costume contest will be a community vote for Best Costume on Social Media! The winner will get a prize the following week.

Summer is over....now it's Autumns turn!


Back to School!
Join us for another awesome week full of activities September 8-12th! We have a week full of obedience activities planned and some prizes to give out. The cost is $195+hst for 5 full days of daycare!


Closed
We will be closed on Monday September 1st for Labor Day! We have cancelled all appointments on Paw Partner for that day, please feel free to schedule your pup for a different day that week.


Drop Off & Pickup
Early drop off's are available as needed. Please note that we need to be notified if you have selected an early drop off time. This is to ensure that we have a staff member present before 7am. You can notify us via Paw Partner, email, Facebook Messenger, Instagram Messages, or text message. Friendly reminder that there is a fee of $15 for early drop off's! Our doors will be locked until 7am, if we do not have any early drop off's that we have been notified about. Please give our staff time to prepare for opening and refrain from ringing the bell prior to 7am. Friendly reminder that if your dog is not picked up by 7pm, there will be an additional $15 charge. We do understand things happen, please feel free to call us at 226-387-8721 if you will be a few minutes late! Remember to stand in front of the reception desk when you are dropping off or picking up your dog. If a staff member does not know you have arrived, feel free to shout out a friendly "Hello" so we know you are there! Coming behind the desk can make dogs more excited, which makes things more difficult for our staff. We also ask that you try not to linger outside the play yard when you leave. We do our best to limit barking and over excitement with the dogs, and lingering outside our fenced in yard causes the dogs to bark and become over excited.
