We are excited to be bringing some more new features and updates to the platform.  We have more features that are in final testing and will be coming out soon.  Keep an eye on our Updates section to see all the new stuff getting released!

Memberships Can Now Include Customer Discounts!


In this new release, you will now be able to add up to three customer discounts inside of a membership.  This means if a customer buys a membership with your business, you are able to have Paw Partner automatically enable a customer discount that will always apply to either a specific service or a reservation type.  A good example would be if you had an unlimited daycare membership and included in this membership is 10% off of all boarding services.

To set this up, you first need to make sure that you have a customer discount created.  Go to "Settings" -> "Pricing" -> "Discounts" -> "Customer" and create your desired discount.

Next go to "Settings" -> "Pricing" -> "Memberships" and create a new membership.  When creating a new membership you are now able to add discounts inside the membership.  When a customer signs up for the membership the system will automatically enable that discount to their profile.  If their card declines in the future or you cancel their membership the system will automatically disable that Customer Discount off of their profile.  If you need help setting that up please contact support and we would be happy to assist!

New Ability to Change a Kennel, Suite, or Playroom Capacity Per Day


You now have the ability to change your capacity every single day.  This is easily done within the "Kennel Assignment Calendar".  To access this, navigate to the Dashboard and click "Open Assignment Calendar".  In the Kennel Assignment Calendar you will now see numbers in the top of each cell.  These numbers represent the total capacity of that kennel, suite, or playroom for that day. To change the capacity for the day, click on the number for the day you wish to change.  A window will pop up and let you choose a date range if you want to change it for multiple days and let you choose the new capacity.  Note this new capacity is how many spots customers have available to reserve, we do still give staff the ability to override though we do warn them when doing so.

New Bookmark Feature!


We have created a new way for you to easily navigate to places in Paw Partner that you regularly use everyday with one click!  For example if you as a business owner always look at the sales reports everyday you can set a book mark on the report you look at all the time and with one click you can get there!  Or your staff who log feeding multiple times a day can now bookmark the feeding report and navigate there with one click.  On the top right section of every page you will now see a new Bookmark Icon.  When you click this a window will pop up so you can name this bookmark whatever you would like.

Once you have set a bookmark and named it, that bookmark will be saved to your profile.  To access this bookmark and easily navigate to that page just hover your mouse over the "Account" on the top right of your screen or access the menu in the mobile app.  There you will see your new bookmark name.  Just click it and you will be taken to that page!

New Alert For Feeding Pets Separately


We have created a new alert to staff to feed pets separately.  When checking in a pet and going over the feeding instructions, there is now a checkbox for "Feed Separately".  This would be for pets that need to be separated when feeding or siblings that can't be fed together.

When you select this option you will now see a flag in both the feeding report and the stay report for "Feed Separately" to alert your staff that this pet needs to be separated when feeding.

New Limited Scheduled Pick Up And Drop Off Times


We now have the ability to limit certain amounts of pet owners to drop off and pick up their pets for specific time slots in Daycare and Boarding.  This feature is most useful for home based or smaller facilities that for instance only want one customer to drop off at a time at their facility and want to have customers schedule specific times to drop off or pick up.

To set this up you first need to navigate to your boarding or daycare services and set the "Time Slots".  Go to "Settings" -> "Services" -> select a service and click the "..." to modify the service.  In the daily times for this service input your different time slots that you want.  Note that if you click the "?" next to the time slots for the days it will guide you to the format needed to schedule your time slots.

Once you have your time slots all set up navigate to "Settings" -> "Reservation" -> and scroll down to "Unique Drop Off Times".  You will see each day from Sunday through Monday.  The top section is for "Drop Off" and the bottom section is for "Pick Up".  There is a drop down selector so you can select how many pets that you want to schedule for each "Time Slot" you set up in the previous step.  At the bottom there are two additional checkbox options.  The first is "Drop off and pick up share times".  If this is selected then you are saying that if someone schedules to drop off their pet in one of your time slots then it will also block off one of your capacities for that time slot for the pick up as well.  For example if you allow 2 owners to drop off and pick up at 8 am, if this setting is enabled, then when some one schedules a drop off at 8am then you now have 1 space available for both drop off and pick up.  If this setting is not enabled for this scenario, then you would have 1 spot available for drop off and 2 available for pick up still.  The second check box is "Boarding and daycare share times".  This setting will make it so that the matching timeslots that you have input for daycare and boarding will share the same capacity.  When a boarding customer books to drop off at 8am for instance, it will lower the capacity for daycare to drop off at the same time.

Note that this feature is scheduling pet owners and not pets.  If you have "2 owners per time slot" enabled then one owner with two pets can drop off and that only counts as one of the capacity and a second owner will still be able to reserve for that time.
